Just announced–the Federal Government will be shut down tomorrow due to the approaching hurricane.

Davids Tent has safely relocated to Faith Tabernacle, 300 A Street NE. What an honor to enthrone Jesus 24/7 on Capitol Hill as at the White House! We will be there probably til at least October 31, then return to the Ellipse. Remember that on October 31–Reformation Day–we “Tent the Nation” at the four corners and governmental centers of our states.

The Bridal Canopy Prevails!
Remember Cindy Jacobs’ vision of the X over our nation that transformed into a Bridal Canopy. We are seeing an incredible visual of this, playing out before our very eyes! We can plainly see how the enemy is trying to “X us out,” and how God is establishing His Bridal Canopy over our land. Lets all declare, “The Bridal Canopy prevails!”

Please keep Davids Tent in prayer, and make plans for Tent the Nation. From Virginia to Maine, God is softening the ground for the tent pegs to be driven in. Lord, all we really needed was a little soaking rain… maybe You went just a little overboard on this!

When the Tabernacle Must Take Shelter…
This morning I felt the Holy Spirit quicken to me the phrase, “When the Tabernacle must take shelter…” Ponder this a moment. I have long felt that Davids Tent is a signpost for the nation. Beloved, there is a message in the whirlwind.

Hurricane Sandy is expected to continue tracking northeast and then suddenly turn left, moving into Washington DC and the mid-Atlantic region. And then it becomes “Frankenstorm,” the Perfect Storm, with the potential to be the most crippling our Nation has ever seen.

Please hear my heart. By no means do I want to marginalize the suffering and loss more than 60 million Americans are facing by twisting this storm into a prophetic word. At the same time I am compelled by Holy Spirit to share what I feel He is emphasizing.

If we continue to “shift left”– endorsing the purposeful violation of Biblical principles and values in every sphere of life and governance–a time could even come where our freedom to worship is removed. “Davids Tent”–and every true Christian wineskin and witness to the land–would literally have to take shelter in order to be preserved.

Moreover, a shift left at this time could actually propel us straight into what many prophets are calling “the Perfect Storm” for our nation. Where even our national sovereignty is violated by the encroachment of global governance.

The Convergence of Thrones
“The Perfect Storm” is being created from a convergence of storms. In the same manner, one of the greatest threats we face actually comes from a convergence of thrones. Where the seats of authority of our government align with the thrones of the enemy.

Again, this convergence comes primarily by purposefully discarding Biblical principles and values. By this, the enemy gains access to rule over the seats of authority in our land.

Just like Hurricane Sandy itself, the storm of our election would do much less damage–whoever is elected–without the potential of this convergence. But factor in the convergence, and you see the storm that could literally X out our land. Which is why we must deal now with the “thrones behind the thrones.”

Will the Storm Delay our Elections?
On January 9, 2012 we posted the following: “Through national tragedy, the enemy desires to set in motion circumstances that would “require” a postponement or even a negation of our national elections. It is my understanding that provisions within the Patriot Act, approved by Congress, have already been made. This can and must be stopped through prayer.”

Both the timing and severity of the storm warrant immediate prayer related to this. Lets cut off all enemy plans to delay the process of Democratic governance the world looks to us to exemplify. Pray for every American to be free and able to vote their conscience this November 6.

And again–NO KING BUT JESUS! May God’s Bridal Canopy prevail. He is our shelter, truly our only shelter, from the coming storm.
