The Awakening Alarm is Sounding
Through the past two weeks we have felt to focus on “sounding the awakening alarm.” Jolene shared a prophetic warning for DC from Jeremiah 6. Yesterday Cindy Jacobs, widely respected as a prophet to the nations, did the same. Cindy issued a dire warning that plans were in the works for a terrorist strike on our soil of greater magnitude than 9-11. Privately Cindy confirmed she felt Washington DC and New York City were again being targeted.
Cindy will be with us on Monday’s prayer call to launch the Glory Procession. Please join us and lets together receive a word from the Lord. And in the meantime, lets keep our watch with all vigilance at least through July 7, as Ann Graham Lotz has compelled us all to do.
Cindy’s 9-11 Warning
Before sharing Cindy’s warning, here’s a backstory related to another east coast prayer journey. Our Glory Procession ends in Jamestown VA, where the 2001 Kettle Tour began. Cindy was onsite to launch the Kettle Tour in prayer, just as she will be praying by conference call to help launch our journey this Monday.
Dutch Sheets and Lou Engle had established the Kettle Tour as a forerunning prayer journey for the Call Boston on September 22, 2001. When they had met earlier in the year to plan a Call gathering, Lou had originally been focused on California. But the Holy Spirit redirected their attention to the northeast. And both the Call Boston and the Kettle Tour, named for a kettle my friend Will Ford had received as an inheritance from his slave forefathers, was set in motion.
Then came Jamestown. Cindy Jacobs was given a dire warning. America had no idea that destruction was at its gates. And we would either plummet to the dust or rise like a phoenix from the ashes as we sought the Lord.
The key dates for this warning, Cindy said, were between 9-11 and 9-22.
Call 911! Ceci Sheets’ 9-11 Warning
I remember going across the Tappan Zee Bridge on the Kettle Tour, looking down towards Manhattan and seeing the Twin Towers for the last time. As we drove, we were discussing a dream that Dutch’s wife Ceci received. Ceci looked down, saw a “baby bump,” and discovered she was pregnant. She looked down again and realized she had suddenly come to full term—with nobody to help deliver the baby. “Call 911! Call 911!” She began to cry. “The baby is here, and there’s nobody to deliver!”
We were literally discussing this dream while crossing the Hudson. Dutch felt the dream referred to Psalm 91:1, dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. I felt the Lord was speaking about a convergence of the Call movement with the Amos 9:11 Tabernacle of David movement.
Nobody perceived the reality of the warning about 9-11. September 11. When the Twin Towers and the Pentagon were struck by passenger jets piloted by Islamist terrorists, forever changing our nation and world.
Cindy’s prophecy proved true, as did Ceci’s dream. They were among a precious few prophetic voices who actually were given the very date from the Lord as well as a warning.
That said, when the alarm sounds from Cindy and other prophets, it is very wise to take heed. Below is Cindy’s most recent call to watch and pray—seemingly at the outset of another east coast prayer journey, the Glory Procession. Please keep watch!
CINDY JACOBS—WARNING OF DISASTER— PRAYER ALERT
A few months ago, the Lord had me issue a warning called “Shields Up” to pray for the protection of our nation. Tonight, while reading my Bible, the following passage leapt off the page:
And He has confirmed His words, which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, BY BRINGING UPON US A GREAT DISASTER; for under the whole Heaven such has never been done as what has been done to Jerusalem. (Daniel 9:12)
It does not take a prophet to realize that America is in trouble! We know there are many radical extremists who hate us – this is not new. However, as I read the verse this evening I was shaken by it. This is what I am hearing: “There is an another attack on the scale of 9/11 being planned!”
As I prayed to pinpoint how to intercede, I immediately heard these words: “Close the gates! All borders must be closed to terrorists and those who would aid them.” This includes all airport customs checkpoints, as well as border crossings.
We must pray for our customs and border agents to have eagle eyes to “see” any potential persons trying to make their way into the United States. We must also pray for all points of public transport.
The good news is that prayer works! This is a call upon every praying person everywhere to stand in the gap and pray for the protection of the nation.
