Day 12: Womb of the Unknown Intercessor–with video!

www.lamplighterministries.net | RPN-MD | HAPN-MD LAMPostings! New from Lamplighter. Click here to sign up! Happy (belated) Resurrection Day! Tried to get this post to you yesterday, but I guess there were some server problems. Thank God for new beginnings! We celebrate with you the legacy of our Great Intercessor,  Jesus Christ, whose tomb became a birthing chamber for resurrection life. When Jesus died, we were redeemed. When He arose, this gift of resurrection life became ours as well. THANK YOU LORD! Honoring our Warriors Recently I visited Arlington Cemetery with our friends Janet and Allen Bishop, pastors from VT. We were watching the honor guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier when I had a recurring thought. The highest honor the military can convey is given to soldiers whose identity is not even known–nameless warriors who died for the cause of freedom. It occurred to me that our warriors in the spirit deserve such honor as well. We put together a video for you below. Most effective intercessors live and die without ever being known by man. Yet before God’s throne they are greatly honored and esteemed. Breakthrough is secured, history changed, lives protected, souls birthed into the Kingdom through their efforts. Today we celebrate our Father, who gave His only begotten Son, that we might have life. We celebrate Jesus, our Great Intercessor. We celebrate those called after His...

Day 10: Eat the Lamb in Your Homes

www.lamplighterministries.net | RPN-MD | HAPN-MD LAMPostings! New from Lamplighter. Click here to sign up! Passover greetings from Jon & Jolene! We are entering into Resurrection Day with fresh gratitude for all Jesus won for us through His cross. On Thursday evening, we were delighted to join in a Passover Seder with Jim and Abby Abildness and friends in Hershey PA. A very poignant time. The depth of affection, depth of care, depth of love He crowned us with has won my heart once again! Conquering Obstacles Before Abby had even invited us personally, Jolene had read an email about it and felt by the Spirit we were to go. Which was really important, given the obstacles she had to conquer in order to make it. Not even a hefty set of stairs could hold Jolene back! I was so proud of her. Within the excellent, unfolding presentation, several things impacted me deeply. How even the details of this meal convey to both Jew and Gentile the awesome depth of sacrifice made by our Savior. How His heart is satisfied when our obedience to be complete, even as His was complete on the cross. Eat the Lamb at Home It also struck me how, at the beginning of Passover, God commanded His covenant people to eat the Lamb in their own homes. Keep in mind, this was before the most...

Day 8: Help us Advance!

www.lamplighterministries.net | RPN-MD | HAPN-MD LAMPostings! New from Lamplighter. Click here to sign up! Today we want to share a personal update. THANK YOU for your prayers! Jolene is continuing to heal and become more mobile. Within a few weeks she should be able to put weight on her foot again. By His stripes, we are healed! With Jolene’s recovery, we cleared most of our schedule for this past month, and have remained primarily homebound. It’s been incredible to pray in our apartment, which overlooks much of Washington DC, as well as to occasionally be an eyewitness to events of national importance. We hope our postings and videos have inspired you. Advancing Lamplighter Many of you have asked how to assist us through this time. For instance, a few faithful friends responded to my veiled plea for cooking help… we are grateful for some of the best lasagna, chicken, and other delicacies we have ever tasted! Jolene and I have kept quiet about opportunities to sow into Lamplighter financially during this season. With medical expenses and a greatly-reduced ministry schedule last month, we are even more resolute to walk by faith and not by sight. God will provide! After much prayer, our request is that you consider sowing towards our advancement. Your donations will totally help us advance during this critical hour. As you sow, we are praying by the Spirit for your...

Day 7: Prophetically, Where are We?

www.lamplighterministries.net | RPN-MD | HAPN-MD LAMPostings! New from Lamplighter. Click here to sign up! “Not just one Pharaoh rose against us to exterminate us, but in every generation did they rise up to exterminate us, and each time the Holy One–Blessed be He–has rescued us from their hands”–Passover Haggadah. Rick Ridings, a prophetic leader now from Jerusalem, prophesied in January about major shifts beginning in March. “I felt very strongly that January to March was a very, very important season for this nation, that much of the future of this nation would be decided not in November, not even in October or September, but would be decided between January to March of 2012...” During this time, Rick called intercessors in Washington DC to 52 days of prayer to build a “Nehemiah Wall” for the city. It’s important to remember Nehemiah built this wall as a protection from terrorists. Finally, Rick called us to host a Sacred Assembly to repent, reset covenant, and stand together as a “corporate Esther” on behalf of America and Israel. Both Rick and his wife Patti also felt Jolene and I needed to focus intensively on Washington DC for an extended season. Within 12 days, Jolene and I relocated–thanks to the generous contributions of so many of you! Our Season: an Issachar Perspective Now that March is over, we are inquiring of the Lord for...

Day 5: Video–Electing Qualified Candidates–Plus Jason Hershey!

www.lamplighterministries.net | RPN-MD | HAPN-MD LAMPostings! New from Lamplighter. Click here to sign up! DC, MARYLAND PRIMARIES APRIL 3! Remember to pray and vote. More info here. A week ago, I ran into George Washington in front of my apartment. For now, suffice to say President Washington offered me a petition. A pastor friend wanted to run for office, and needed needed the necessary signatures to be included on the ballot. Between signatures, our Nation’s first president was gracious enough to afford me an interview. Almost by accident, his insights are amazingly relevant to the theme of today’s posting. I also included wisdom from Pierre Bynum, prayer coordinator for the FRC. What do we look for in candidates? What qualifies a candidate for office? These are great questions, especially over primary day for DC and Maryland! CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO–GEORGE WASHINGTON, PIERRE BYNUM, MORE! My friend Jason Hershey, Director of the Washington House of Prayer, also has some incredible revelation regarding the 2012 election. Jason and W-HOP intercessors recently embarked on a 40 day vigil to pray onsite for President Obama. That to say, he lives what he shares. Jason’s posting is below. How to pray for the 2012 Elections–by Jason Hershey There have been many thoughts on how to pray for the elections in 2012.  Most of them however, if looked at with discernment are not asking the...
